AESTHETICIAN THEORY and basic neck & face

The two-day Basic Neck and Face classroom course combines theory and practical sessions. Theory covers MLD history, anatomy, physiology, indications, and contraindications. The practical part focuses on original Dr. Vodder MLD strokes applied to the neck and face, emphasising aesthetic treatment for healthy skin. Completion of Level 1 theory exam, two-day Basic Neck and Face course allows progression to the two and a half day Advanced Neck and Face course.

What to expect:

  • In-depth look at the anatomy and physiology of the lymph vessel system

  • The effects of manual lymphatic drainage

  • Explanation of techniques

  • Incorporating MLD into aesthetic work

  • Questions and answer session

The two day Advanced Neck and Face course covers MLD applications for pre- and post-cosmetic surgery, scar treatment, and dermatological conditions like acne and skincare. Completion of a practical exam leads to certification from the Dr. Vodder Academy International.

For Level 1 and above Vodder therapists, you have direct access to Advanced Neck and Face and Advanced Body courses. For fully qualified Földi and Klose therapists they may access Basic Neck and Face and Basic Body without needing the Level 1 Aesthetician Theory exam.

An Aesthetician can train in the facial MLD only pathway with either Basic Neck & Face and then progress to the Advanced Neck & Face, to enter the field of cosmetic surgery and chronic skin conditions.

Or if becoming a Lymphatic Drainage specialist within your career pathway, the Foundation Course Level 1 can be taken, then allowing you to either progress to the Advanced Face & Neck & Advanced Body or Level 2 for muscular skeletal techniques or Level 3 for compromisel ymphatics with Lymphoedema & Lipoedema.

Four-day training course

A £435 deposit is required to secure your place. The remaining £1,015 must be paid no later than six weeks before the course commencement date.

There is an early bird offer of £1,305 for those booking and paying in full by Saturday 11th January 2025.
