Lymphatic HEALTH & WELLNESS

Lymphatic health and wellness is crucial in maintaining your body’s perfect balance. This often misunderstood or overlooked system plays a vital role in supporting your immune system by removing toxins and other waste from your body.

When the lymphatic system becomes compromised a range of problems can arise, including swelling of the limbs, headaches, joint pain, fatigue, and a greater susceptibility to illness.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), as part of a Combined Decongestive Therapy (CDT) treatment, is gentle, non-invasive, has countless health benefits and is often the missing piece to the recovery process.

Discover a range of transformative treatments designed to stimulate your lymphatic system and promote a profound sense of wellbeing from the inside out

For all new clients, my initial consultation lasts one hour. During this time, I will assess your individual needs and recommend any necessary or complementary treatments. After the evaluation, I will provide you with a personalised treatment plan.

Personally recommended and professionally used. These products have been chosen by me for their quality, care and enhanced wellness.

  • A healthy lymphatic system is essential for a strong immune system and optimal functioning of our organs.

Personal care plays an important role in supporting our lymphatic system and ensuring its proper function. Regular physical activity, such as exercise and stretching, helps to stimulate lymph flow and prevent stagnation. Drinking plenty of water and staying hydrated is also essential for keeping the lymph fluid moving smoothly through the body.

Dry brushing and lymphatic massage are also brilliant ways to stimulate lymph flow and detoxify the body. Reducing stress through relaxation techniques, such as meditation and deep breathing exercise, can also benefit the lymphatic system.

Using natural products can help prevent toxins from accumulating in the lymphatic system. I am a great supporter of Arbonne as their products are rigorously monitored and they have their own 'not allowed list' which consists of 2000+ questionable ingredients that are prohibited from their formulations.

  • Compression garments and bandaging are used to help control and reduce swelling and improve lymphatic flow. Both can play an important role in managing and treating lymphoedema.

Here are some of my personally recommended products that have been tried and tested by me:

    Sigvaris

    Haddenham Healthcare

    JOBST

    Lipoelastic

    Macom Medical

  • The gut and the lymphatic system are two vital components of the body’s overall health and wellbeing. The gut is responsible for digesting food and absorbing nutrients, while the lymphatic system helps the body rid itself of toxins, waste and harmful substances.

When the gut is not functioning properly, it can lead to imbalances in the gut microbiome. This can result in issues such as inflammation, leaky gut syndrome, and other digestive disorders that can compromise the integrity of the gut lining. When the gut lining is compromised, harmful substances can leak into the bloodstream and trigger an immune response, leading to systemic inflammation and potential damage to the lymphatic system.

There are several ways to support gut health and promote a healthy lymphatic system. Eating a balanced diet rich in fibre, fruits, vegetables and probiotic-rich foods can help nourish the gut microbiome and support proper digestion and nutrient absorption. Maintaining good hydration, regular exercise, and managing stress can also help support the lymphatic system and promote overall wellness.
